The Team

Behind Decadence is a small group of dedicated and talented people. Almost the whole team study Computer Development with different specializations at the University of Skovde, Sweden.

Some contributors, however, have been recruited from around the world to pitch in with their special and attractive abilities.

Designer

Name: Henrik Alfredsson
Username: Majestic XII

Henrik is the architect behind the design of Decadence. He's in charge of game and level design and also does a couple of models when he's let out of his box.

Programmer

Name: Johan Bernhardsson
Username: Unicorn

Johan is the programmer on the project, and as a gatekeeper of the code he stand. His C++ prowess and his eye for shaders makes Johan Decadence's David to the Goliath that is the Source SDK.

Artist

Name: Filip Coulianos
Username: Coulianos

If you haven't seen Leonidas you can't even begin to imagine what Filip is like. Being a level designer extraordinaire and a Source® know-it-all makes him a very valuable asset to Decadence.

Name: Claes Engdal
Username: Nurb

Ever seen anyone beautiful walk by you in town? Chances are that Claes modeled him or her. He's in charge of the characters and many other models and graphics in the game.

Name: Pontus Karlsson
Username: Pomperi

Pomp travels around the globe in his quest for rusty surfaces to caress. When he's home though, he usually does some texture magic in Photoshop or spreads his love on a map or two.

Producer

Name: Tobias Möllstam
Username: mollstam

He came to the team a rainy November morning in a basket on the porch. Now, many months later, he's in charge of the producer role of Decadence and the development of the Decadence site.

 

Game Writer

Name: Sara Wendel
Username: SolSara

A unique aspect of Decadence is its close ties to story. With the magic at her fingertips Sara enriches the world with an extraordinary level of depth and detail.

Animator

Name: Erik Viklund
Username: wiklund

No one moves like Erik, that's his game, and when it's game time, it's pain time baby, yeah! With illegal cyborg implants from the government he's more than able to drop some moves in Decadence.

Sebastian is a talented musician with a broad repeater and we couldn't be happier to have him putting some tunes to Decadence. He's fresh to the group, but we won't spare him nonetheless!

Johan helped out the team with a couple of models during a time. Although Johan is no longer a member of the team he comes to check up on us once in a while.

Björn was a very prominent figure in the plastic pipe manufacturing industry. He left his rock star lifestyle to pursue his true calling, 3D art and he's now a valued contributor to the Decadence team.

Luke's the man, he shows up and immediately starts to help out. He knows Hammer, the guy can script and build soundscapes and he just knows Source and sounds!

Christopher - or Cade - is our sound effects guy from Australia. So when he's not running around hunting crocs he's running around with a microphone and slamming on things.
